Parvez Qureshi is an entrepreneur in the meat export business with close to four decades of hands-on experience.

In 1991, Parvez established Barkat Export, a meat export trading company, privately owned, and proudly Indian. It was founded with the goal to export and import meat, meat products, fruits, and vegetables, as well as other food products.

In his 38 years of business life, Parvez has been involved in the industry too, with representation in apex trade bodies such as the Meat Council, and the Governing Committee of All India Meat & Livestock Exporters Association.

In pursuit of controlling quality, end to end,  Parvez, along with the other principal, Zameer Ahmed Khan, established a slaughterhouse in 2015 and formed Swad Agro Cold Chain Private Limited.

Zameer has a rural background and a life dedicated to animal husbandry. This raw experience has been critical in developing a world-class abattoir that has won approvals and certification from the governments of India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait.

Both promoters have decades of experience in setting up and managing teams of professionals such as traders, accountants, shipping, and documentation experts, who can independently mange operations. This is a critical strength both promoters bring to the company.

Both promoters have a network of business associates across the length and breadth of India. This enables them to source meat from any place in the country, from a processor who has the ability to produce the product that is desired for export shipment.
